Sail historic Odisha trade routes in a light trick-taking card game.
Boitas is a light trick-taking card game inspired by the Sadhaba traders of ancient Odisha. Players take the role of seafaring merchants who travel in traditional boitas to distant trading destinations. Each voyage asks them to read the trick, choose the right card and collect valuable goods such as spices, textiles and precious metals. Unpredictable seas and rival decisions create tension even when the rules remain easy to teach. Build prosperity for yourself and your kingdom by combining clever card play with timely trade.
